Transfer Summer Advising” is designed to help foster an intentional healthy transition into WSSU while many faculty members are on summer break. The top priority of Transfers Students is centered around Transfer Credits, Financial Aid, and Advising. This initiative will include multiple units from across the enterprise such as:
  • University College – Registering students with less than 40 credit hours.
  • Faculty Advisors – Registering students with more than 40 credit hours.
  • Financial Aid – Assuring all students have completed their FASFA, know how to locate and identify their aid, and ensure that all follow up materials are confirmed.
  • Student Accounts – Informing students of their bills and how to pay it.
  • Admissions – providing next steps to becoming Ram Ready and important/final documents.
  • Residence Life – Offering support to on campus seeking students, and welcoming students to apply.
  • Parking – Providing information on how to register for a parking pass.
  • Office of the Registrar – explaining code of conduct and how they assist students during their matriculation at WSSU.
  • Student Wellness/Health – Instructing students to upload their health documents.
